My name is John, I'll tell you a little more about me, as I'd like to know a bit more about you. ...Ok...So I'll go first. I am from Alaska (born in Florida..story to ensue), grew up a military brat, lived overseas in high school on a study-abroad scholarship, graduated from NAU with my first degree in 1989, built my house here in Gilbert back in 1991 (yes, there was a Gilbert then), built and sold a few profitable companies, took 3 years off to travel the world (that was part of my 17yr career, too), and now am a counselor at GCU. I still do some freelance business consulting, but really just want to relax. I am active, love the outdoors (remember the Alaska thing), but hold season tickets to the theater (Hale Center and The Herberger), volunteer at Friends for Life-no-kill animal shelter, and love to decorate and cook. I live here in the Val Vista Lakes with my two "kids--Taos and Zuni"...I couldn't let them get split up from the shelter. We love to hike and are mainstays at Cosmo Dog Park.
